Another excellent stay at Villa Vaubin. As i said in a previous review this really is an excellent BnB. The owners Ria and Lorenzo are lovely and go above and beyond to make your stay special.|The bedrooms are large with a seating area and have tea and coffee making facilites, a free mini bar, radio, dvd and TV. The whole place is kept spotless. |The breakfast is very good and sets you up for the day. Plys there is free off road parking.|We would highly recommend Villa Vaubin and Cant wait to return.

I'm writing this review after our first night at the Villa Vauban.
It is a fantastic building,
So are the Hosts very welcoming and informative about the area.
The room puts most hotels to shame regarding its size and the amenities available, including free bottles of water and a beer in your room.
If we are ever in need of accommodation in Ypres, this will be the residence that is at the top of our list

First impressions of this BnB were very good as we were greeted by Ria (the owner) who makes you feel welcome as soon as you meet her, as does her husband Lorenzo. We were offered a drink and a chat as soon as we arrived and sat with her in her lovely garden.||The bedroom was spacious, with a seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want including a little minibar with free drinks that were replenished daily. ||Breakfast was extra (15 euros each) but it was so worth it as it was delicious, with tea, coffee, fruit juice, bread croissants, eggs, fresh fruit , yogurt etc. it set us up for the day.|| Ria really does go out of her to make your stay as lovely as possible and nothing seems to be too much trouble.||The BnB is just a short walk from the Menin Gate in a very quiet residential area. The added bonus is that there is free off road parking on site.||This is probably one of the nicest BnB we have stayed at and we would definitely stay here again when we visit Ypres.||

4-7 mei 2023; Op een perfecte locatie 200m loopafstand van de Menenpoort en dichtbij de markt met restaurants en winkels. Uitstekende, prachtige, rustig gelegen B&B met privé parking en prachtige tuin. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en zéér goed ontbijt. Ruime propere kamer met een goed bed en een moderne badkamer.
(Niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht te been zijn "trap").
Zeker een aanrader!

My husband & I had booked two nights at Villa Vauban but after seeing the property and meeting the hosts we were hooked and reserved a third night. We weren’t disappointed with our decision. Villa Vauban is a lovely B & B, one of the best we have stayed at.

The property is situated just outside Ypres fortified wall and is close to the Menin Gate.

Our bedroom was spacious with such a comfortable bed and fabulous ensuite. Drinks in the fridge and chocolates were a lovely unexpected touch.

Ria & Lorenzo are wonderful hosts and immediately made us feel at home and provided great local knowledge of the town and surrounds.

Our filling breakfasts were served in the wonderful guests dining room and Ria made sure everything was to our liking.

We highly recommend Villa Vauban.

Uitstekende ervaring. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd, rustige omgeving en enorm gastvrij. Deze B&B is zeker een aanrader. Bedankt Ria & Lorenzo voor een volmaakt weekendje weg.

Prachtige kamer, bijzonder vriendelijke en hulpvaardige gastvrouw. Perfecte ligging voor een bezoek aan Ieper en alle bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.

Heerlijk mooie plaats om te vertoeven. Vlakbij centrum Ieper en op een zucht van de Menenpoort. Warm onthaal, afgewerkte kamers en een ontbijt om vingers van af te likken.👍
