Been here once before and still a great chalet with ensuite baths and a lovely hot tub outside. Run by Le Ski, nice freindly young staff and great food. We were lucky with the weather and the company; it's a chalet for 22 so a good mix of people. Our room was fine and big enough; I think some people may have had smaller rooms as I heard a few comments. The chalet is basically piste side with the only drawback being it is below piste level and so it is a bit of a steep climb (in ski boots and carrying skis) to get out in the morning, and not always possible to ski right back in at the end of the day, but people seemed to cope. Very quiet location and actually quiet inside too.

Just back from a wonderful week at Chalet Rikiki with Le Ski.. lovely big chalet. There were 20 people staying, we went as a couple and there were a few family groups of 3 and four, and other couples and friends, a great mixed group and lovely people to spend the week with.|The chalet is in a good location in courchevel 1650, a quick walk up the steps at the side of the chalet then across the hill for about 50 meters then your on the Mickey piste, a quick ski down to the Ariondas gondola, very easy and a good little warm up.|The food was fab and wine good, our 3 hosts Kanny, Athena and Mike did a great job. Not too fused on the veggie evening, no meat option yet every night there was meat there was a veggie option, !! I’m just not into lentils and butternuts squash…|The lounge is nice, with a big open fireplace. We had a fab room upstairs and some other guests said their rooms were quite small.. I think nicer pillows are needed they were square and quite lumpy n bumpy.. but there was nothing about our week that would put us off going there… it’s a great spot and lovely chalet.. Good Job Le Ski 👍👍👍

Great location, but all other services and standards have slipped greatly. ||Dirty rooms, no toiletries, torn & stained sofa's, TV not working and we had a lot of children, wifi so bad we couldn't even perform a wifi test. ||Food was well below par, staff tried but without a decent chef you got what you expected from a student cooking.||We've stayed her many times as the location is fantastic, however plenty of areas need addressing to make the chalet match the price tag!

Rikiki is quite a big chalet (22) and when we stayed there were 7 different groups so there was always someone to chat to. The rooms are clean and comfortable and even though we had one which had not had a bathroom revamp, it seemed fine to us with very good lighting, a bath and a good over bath shower. The lounge has plenty of comfy seating and meals are had at one long table. The week we were there people moved around the table on different nights which was very sociable and meant you got to talk to new people. The food was great and we always had excellent vegetables! Maybe a few too many "creamy" puddings for me (and not sure about cheesecake after a baked camembert starter) but the main meal was always so satisfying that I didn't really need the pud anyway! Wine was very good and unlimited (red, white and rose) and we had a different cooked breakfast option each morning. There was a vegan and one or two vegetarians in the chalet and Tommy always produced something tasty and non-meaty/cheesy for them. And of course there was always a lovely cake, or two, in the afternoon (with vegan option).||There is a hot tub just outside which was well used and lovely and warm (bubbles optional!) ||The resort staff (Steph and Calum), and Grace in the chalet were around and very helpful with suggestions and offers of making bookings, enquiries etc. ||The chalet is almost ski in/ski out depending on snow, and is in a pretty quiet location just out of the centre of 1650/Moriond. (Definitely the nicest of the Courchevels in our opinion!)||As essentially a non-skier I got a pedestrian (pieton) weekly lift pass for E74 and was able to go far and wide on the cable cars and occasional chair lift. You can get a special map at the tourist information which shows all the places you can get as a pedestrian and that includes right up to Mont Vallon and over to Meribel and beyond.||There are also a number of companies doing guided snow shoe walks (for example Raquette Evasion), there is a full size ice-rink at 1850 in "The Forum" which is amazingly cheap at E8 inc. skate hire, and there is the (very expensive) "Aquamotion" swimming pool etc at Courchevel 1550 (Village) which can be reached on foot using the escalators from Moriond.||Probably our only real issue was not with the chalet at all but with the ski hire (White Storm delivered to chalet) Having previously used Snowberry in Val D'Isere (again with le Ski) who were fantastic at fitting and had a great range of kit, we found White Storm very limited and in fact they only brought one boot the right size for my son and as they had not asked about "stiffness" it was far too flexible for his skiing style. As their shop is actually up at 1850 and not in Moriond we had to go up there on the first day (luckily the day it snowed quite a lot) for him to exchange the boots and even then the choice seemed to be very limited. So, the delivery and collection service to the chalet is probably quite convenient if you know exactly what you need/want and they have it. But if you need more options it might be better to use one of the rental places actually in 1650 (for example the excellent Intersport who also hire out snow shoes for just E7 a day)||But the above did not really spoil what was a great week with good company, some great laughs and fantastic snow and blue skies!

A very mixed bag , the chalet was very basic , room very small and the chalet downstairs stunk like a rugby changing rooms. The food was inedible on the first day but did slowly improve but certainly not to the standard we were used too ! The kids ! Yes kids , were clearly just following instructions but Le Ski need to seriously consider the budget they allocate to the chalet. We were in France and not once did we get offered a croissant for breakfast. So we thought we would ask and the response was who told you , you got croissants! And no you cant ! One night one of our party got served up a bowl of soup that resembled nothing but an after thought ! Basically they had messed up on the portions , so decided to scrape the pan , mix with some milk and water and serve up . Obviously we complained and the poor boy said oh yes , the chef made us do it ! About 30 mins later they did apologise and gave us a free bottle of wine but the point was they thought that was acceptable!! Luckily for us the snow and weather was great but never again will i book with this company !

Just returned from a weeks stay with Le Ski @ Chatel Rikiki. As I based my booking of these reviews I felt compelled to write. On balance this is a really great place to stay; the host Dave, Megan and Emily are all stars. Le Ski (did not see much of them as ski hosting had, following a court action, been cancelled - not Le Ski's fault) seem to run a well oiled business; flights and transfers were excellent - even managing to ski of the day we arrived - real bonus! Chalet is 5 mins up the hill from the town, but this is an easy walk. Food was superb, good wine flowed very freely. Chalet just of the piste, skiing back to the chatel door possible if enough snow; short uphill walk.||||It is worth noting that the chalet has a very significant number of returning guests, whilst a positive also means that it is a little 'clicky'. That being said everybody was delightful. ||||Slight negatives - the room was quite small but bearable, the chalet was very hot, we seemed unable to turn of the heating in our room, room was tended to daily not would describe it as serviced. No breakfast cooked on the staff day off - expected to fend for yourself and 'clear up' on holiday - shock horror!
