Wow! What an unforgeable experience at Laure and David's. Located at Brittany Coast in a magical town behind a church at St Helen, the space is a stunning array of living units, with perfectly equipped kitchen and bathrooms. All rustic and home-like, with great attention to details. Laure cooks like a 5-star chef and you can't get enough of her and David's hospitality, charm and warm welcome. They were able to accommodate the dietary needs of 18 very demanding folks, so it's perfect for a large group or a romantic getaway for a couple. Thank you so much for the memories, still reminiscing about them desserts.. <3

Craig Nelson's plein air painting workshop group discovered this incredible manor house set in the lovely French village of St. Helen. Laure and David are exquisite hosts and chef Laure provided us with nourishing and gourmet meals every evening with special attention to dietary restrictions for some of our participants. The location is peaceful and the three structures maintain French charm while offering modern day conveniences. Outdoor dining was a favorite with our group of incredible artists after the day of painting in various locations in and around St. Helen. Chef Laure organized a special Breton evening including traditional music, dance, galette and crepe. The group enjoyed learning some new dance steps which made for a memorable evening. Thank you again Laure and David for your recommendations, your kindness and attention to every detail during our stay. Merci beaucoup!

We can thoroughly recommend Le Manoir Du Bourg, one hundred percent, and the owners, Laure and David, went above and beyond with their help and kindness to assist us after a problem with a car. They are friendly and on hand if the need arises but discreet as well. Laure is happy to arrange things like outside catering for galettes and crepes or beauticians to do relaxing massages or treatments, all with the grounds of Le Manoir. Our family spent a fantastic week there using the whole property. Each residence is fully equipped and independent of each other, but we used the largest for cooking and gathering together. The outside covered seating area was ideal for all meals sitting 16 of us comfortably. The grass area has plenty of room for family activities and the secure, well maintained pool area was delightful. In fact we were all quiet content to stay around the pool for some or all of the day Add in a covered games area with table tennis and billiards plus a “kids only”room, all enhances the property for family use. Ideally situated for sightseeing to Dinan, Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo and other interesting places either on the coast or inland. Saint Helen is a lovely village with a beautiful church, bakery and small shop, come cafe, cum bar, all a very short walk away, from the property. All in all a stunning place steeped in history, which we can thoroughly recommend. Some people may have issues with the stairs in some of the houses, if they have mobility problems, but other than that it is perfect in every way.

What a wonderful stay we had at Manoir du Bourg! The property is very charming, in a quiet town and beautiful countryside. The rooms were comfortable, with all the amenities. And the hosts were delightful! They were friendly and attentive, and Laure’s cooking was spectacular! They went above and beyond to make our group’s stay enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

We hadden een perfecte tijd in Le pigeonnier. Perfect als uitvalsbasis. Mooi warm proper zwembad ook, huisje had alle comfort, en de hosts zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als je van katten houdt, er zijn er drie die je kan knuffelen. Aanrader!

Amazing stay in le Manoir for 12 of us (3 families with kids aged 1 - 13 years old). Perfect setting, lovely hosts who couldn't be more helpful ❤️ (they organised a crepe van for us ?, Laure (the owner) is also a chef and cooked for us all one night ?.
Easy to find, park and close to a supermarket and Dinan + other day trips.
We cannot wait to come back ?
